The part of Menno van Zwieten, Rick Minnesma and Tjisse Steenstra has won the Hotze Hiding Party in Harlingen.
Against Johan Sipma, Gabe-Jan Popta and Hendrik Kootstra, they were 5-2 6-2 too strong. Pretty handsome, because Van Zwieten stood on the field with a groin injury.
The semi-final between the part of Sipma and that of Gert-Anne van der Bos, Taeke Triemstra and Erwin Zijlstra was a lot more exciting. It ended in 5-5 6-6 and was won by that of Sipma.
Van Zwieten, however, was not the only one with an injury, the part of Marten Bergsma, Hessel Postma and Pieter Jan Leijenaar was less lucky. Postma had to get off the field after he had gone through his back, he also had an injury to his lower back.
Gerben de Boer was able to take over his place, but the score was no longer able to make up for the backlog in the second round against the part of Tjisse Steenstra.
It causes uncertainty for the score in the run -up to the PC, because Leijenaar is also not top fit. He has surgery on the blind intestine and suffer from his shoulder.
