The A10 north of Amsterdam was completely closed on Thursday evening due to an accident with four cars between the Volendam exit and the Coenplein junction, Rijkswaterstaat reports.
Two people were injured in the accident. They were transported to a hospital. The police could not tell how the wounded are.
After the accident, several ambulances and a trauma helicopter were deployed. The traffic accident service is on site to conduct further investigation.
