The municipality of Rotterdam will close all parking spaces at the Kralingse Bos on Saturday and Sunday.
It was too busy in the area on Friday, the municipality said in a statement. As a result, people could not keep the 1.5 meters distance that was prescribed during the corona pandemic.
The Prinses Beatrixlaan, which runs through the forest, will also be closed to car traffic. The Kralingse Bos can be reached by bicycle and on foot.
For the time being, the measure only applies to Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 August, but can be extended.
