Heiress speaks for the first time of 11 months spent in a Utah facility: “That place wasn’t a school”
The great-granddaughter of the “king of hotels” Conrad Hilton told the magazine People of life in New York, of the constant escapes, of the love for nightlife and of the parents’ decision to move her to boarding school.
“It was supposed to be a school, but it wasn’t, in fact. The staff told me terrible things. They made me feel uncomfortable with myself. I think their purpose was to destroy us,” says Hilton, “and they were physically violent. they tugged at us, they hit us. They wanted to instill fear in young people so that they would be too scared to disobey. ”
