We hardly watch traditional TV anymore. Streaming video services such as Apple TV + (try for free), Netflix, Disney+ in Amazon Prime Video are more important than ever. But also local providers such as Videoland, Film1 and Ziggo have plenty to offer. More series are added every week and it is nice if you know which series, films and documentaries really stand out. We have therefore made a selection.
There are currently no new series and movies on it Apple TV+, but that’s because Apple is busy with all kinds of other things. In Chappie, the new futuristic action movie from the director of District 9 and Elysium, crime is fought with the help of robots by a brutal police force. One of these robots is stolen and reprogrammed, making it the first robot to think and have feelings for itself. When this android, named Chappie, is kidnapped by criminals, he quickly becomes a threat to the police state. All means are used to destroy it and prevent the production of several similar androids.
