JAKARTA Papua Governor Lukas Enembe is currently being treated at Mount Elizabeth Hospital Singapore. The Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri) states that the wheels of government in Papua are now controlled by the Regional Secretary (Sekda).

Kapuspen Kemendagri Benny Irwan confirmed that Papua Governor Lukas Enembe is still in the process of being treated in Singapore.

“We are still in the process of treatment. We pray, hopefully he will recover soon and can return to carry out his duties as usual,” he said when contacted, Wednesday (26/5/2021).

Of course, he also does not walk alone because he is always hand in hand with the Provincial Forkopimda. There is a Kapolda, there is a Pangdam, Attorney General, Chairman of DPRD and MRP, Chairman of the Court, Kabinda, and other officials who will work together in synergy to carry out government and development tasks, “he explained.

Benny also ensures that the Ministry of Home Affairs carries out its duties and functions as a supervisor and supervisor for local governments.
