“Prices have not changed much. We do this to see the success of the previous Reno 4. But in Reno 5, we add more updates to the technology,” said Region General Manager (RGM) of Oppo Surabaya, Rudy Tao, when launching the Oppo Reno 5 at Apollo WTC. Surabaya Mall, Sunday (24/1/2021).

“At the beginning of the PPKM (the implementation of restrictions on community activities), the market may still be stagnant and even tend to decline. But we are optimistic that nearing the middle of the year it will rise again,” added Rudy.
One of the flagship is the camera. For the rear camera, Oppo Reno 5 uses four lenses with 64 Megapixels. Previously, Reno 4 only had 32 Megapixels for the front camera, in Reno 5, the embedded resolution is even greater, namely 44 Mega Pixels, which makes the image even more detailed.
“Both cameras use a video system called OPPO Full Dimension Fusion (FDF) Portrait Video. This system consists of two machines, a Quality Enhancement Engine and a Portrait Perception Machine. So that the resulting image is clearer and remains stable when moving,” he admitted.
Meanwhile, the owner of the Apollo Gadget Store, Irwan Harianto, admitted that the presence of Reno 5 will stimulate sales at Apollo outlets. Because the presence of new technology will make the gadget market more competitive.
“Consumers really like the latest innovations, although currently sales have slumped slightly due to the impact of PPKM. But the presence of a new variant is expected to boost gadget sales,” he hoped.
