Chairman of the DKI Jakarta DPRD Prasetio Edi Marsudi accused Governor Anies Baswedan of lying about the issue of the 2024 DKI gubernatorial election. An adviser to the PAN faction of the DKI DPRD, Zita Anjani, felt that Anies had never connected the 2024 gubernatorial election with trying to block it.
For information, the accusation stems from Anies’ statement when he was a speaker at the PAN National Workshop Forum in Bali, Monday (4/10/2021). Zita at that time was the moderator of the event.

Zita asked Prasetio to prove his accusations against Anies. The deputy chairman of the DKI DPRD considered it wrong if there were parties who interpreted Anies’ statement at the PAN event in question.
“You should show evidence that Governor Anies said that the 2024 gubernatorial election was to stymie Governor Anies. There are a lot of people accusing him of that, he said in a talk session with PAN. Show where Governor Anies made such an impression in the video. Anies revealed that he would prepare to run for the DKI gubernatorial election in his fourth year as governor. However, because the DKI gubernatorial election was postponed to 2024, Anies canceled his plan.
