A shooting outside a bowling alley in Palermo, Buenos Aires, early Wednesday morning resulted in the injury of a young man adn the subsequent arrest of four suspects by the City Police.

The Incident Unfolds

The incident began at a disco on Dorrego Street, but authorities where alerted when the victim’s friends, seeking assistance, flagged down a police vehicle in the Belgrano neighborhood. The friends approached officers at the intersection of Juramento and 3 de Febrero streets. they were traveling in a Toyota Etios, transporting the injured man.

According to police reports, the vehicle contained three men, including the victim, and two women. They reported that their friend had been shot by a man after leaving the bowling alley and that the shooter was accompanied by three others.

The Chase and Apprehension

The alleged attackers were reportedly traveling in two vehicles: a Volkswagen Vento and a Volkswagen Fox. Authorities quickly located these vehicles based on the provided descriptions.

Together, emergency services attended to the injured man, who had sustained gunshot wounds to the abdomen and one arm. He was transported to Fernández Hospital,where he is currently under observation and reported to be out of danger.

Tracking the suspects

Authorities used footage from the Urban Monitoring Center (CMU) to track the suspects’ vehicle from the bowling alley to a building on Monroe Street in the 2000 block.The footage showed the suspects entering the building after the shooting. Officers entered the apartment, located on the second floor and used as a temporary rental, and apprehended three of the four suspects. The fourth suspect was arrested while attempting to escape from the balcony to a nearby construction site.

Legal Proceedings

The case is now under the jurisdiction of the National Criminal and Correctional Prosecutor’s Office No. 61, led by prosecutor Martín López Perrando, who has ordered preliminary investigative measures.
