Man from ahmadiyah Group Killed in Pakistan Amidst Mob Violence

A man from the Ahmadiyah minority group at Pakistan Killed by the masses on Friday (18/4). The deadly incident occurred after hundreds of adherents of radical Islam surrounded the place of worship of the minority community in the port city of Karachi.
The masses, mostly from the anti-religious political group, Pakistan-E-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP), as reported by AFP And ReutersSaturday (4/19/2025), invaded narrow roads in the Saddar area while shouting their slogans.
The invasion was driven by anger mob’s anger because the adherents Ahmadiyah Allegedly performing Friday prayers.

“One member of the community died after the masses identified him as a Ahmadi. They attacked him with sticks and bricks,” said a senior Karachi police officer, Muhammad Safdar, while talking to AFP.
“The mass includes members of several religious parties,” he added.
Safdar said that the police arrested around 25 adherents of Ahmadiyah for their safety.
A journalist AFP The ones at the scene reported the existence of a detention car escorted by several police vehicles carrying the Ahmadiyah followers, after negotiating with a mass consisting of 600 people.
