Pak Anies, Corona DKI Adds 686 Cases a Day, Not Safe!

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – The Ministry of Health released a new case of the corona virus (Covid-19), Saturday (8/8/20). Out of all provinces, DKI Jakarta leads the ‘standings’ with 686 new cases today.

Even so, there were 509 patients recovered in DKI Jakarta, and 11 people died in the capital, which was led by Governor Anies Baswedan.

East Java occupied second place with 429 new cases, 464 people recovered and 22 people died. Furthermore, West Java recorded 240 new cases, 37 people recovered and 3 people died.


As for South Sulawesi, there were 107 new cases, 69 patients recovered and zero deaths. Furthermore, North Sumatra has 101 new cases, 124 recovered, 1 death.

Next is Central Java with 88 new cases with 68 people recovering and 11 people dead. South Kalimantan recorded 82 new cases, 43 recoveries and 2 deaths.

The total confirmed positive cases of the corona virus (Covid-19) on Saturday (8/7/2020), again increased after last Friday penetrated the psychological figure of 120,000 people.

Based on data from the Ministry of Health, there were an additional 2,277 new cases, bringing the total positive Covid-19 in the country this Saturday to 123,503 people. This number increased from last Friday 121,226 people. Last Friday there were additional cases reaching 2,473 new cases of Covid-19.

Meanwhile, the number of recovered patients increased by 1,749 people, bringing the total to 79,306 people.

The cases of death to date reached 5,658 people, an increase of 65 people compared to yesterday.

In addition, there were also the number of Covid-19 suspects reaching 83,624, an increase of 3,421 people from the previous day’s 80,200. Until now, Covid-19 has spread to 479 districts / cities in 34 provinces in Indonesia.
