Overijssel is connected by a direct night train to Vienna and Innsbruck

A spokesperson for the NS reports that the night train will run through Deventer and Bad Bentheim through 2025, and possibly longer. “That means a convenient entry point for passengers from Overijssel,” says the NS spokesperson. The train to Vienna and Innsbruck runs every day and leaves Amsterdam in the early afternoon, arriving in Deventer about an hour and a half later.
