Up to 641 km of accumulated traffic jams were noted on Saturday on the main road axes at the peak of traffic, the day being classified red by smart one for the 3rd weekend of vacation departures. This peak slowdown, significantly lower than the 955 km recorded last Saturday, was reached around 12 noon and is equivalent to that of last year at this time, said the road traffic organization in a press release.

According to forecasts, the main traffic difficulties, sometimes accentuated by accidents, occur on the main axes of the West (A10, A13, N165, A29, A11, N844, N12), in the South-East (A7, A75 , A8, A71, A6, A9, A750) and the South-West (A63, A20, A71, A630), as well as on the A31 in the East and in the Paris region (A10, N10, A13). The day of Saturday is classified “red” by Bison Futé at the national level in the direction of the departures, green at the national level and orange in the North and the Great West in the direction of the returns.
