Kevin Feige, the boss of Marvel studios has confirmed it, Black Panter Wakanda Forever will make a comeback, and its release is already scheduled for July 8, 2022, according to the American media Variety.
It is a rather expected return because this second film will be made without the main actor, Chadwick Boseman. The titular hero died in 2020 from cancer. Despite his absence, Chadwick Bosseman will not be replaced according to Kevin Feige: “Sour interpretation of T’Challa the Black Panther is emblematic (…) This is why we will not reassign the role.”
All the other players, meanwhile, should be there. “Everyone is also very excited to bring the world of Wakanda back to the public and fans. We’re going to do it in a way that would make Chad proud.“
Production on the Wakanda sequel began Tuesday, June 29 at Pinewood Studios in Atlanta.
