The Juan de Lima square and the Tarifa street Algeciras, part of the historic center of the city, have hosted this Saturday morning an Art Market in which several artists have taken their works to the streets. It is a pilot experience launched by the association RecreArte with the collaboration of the delegations of Culture and Citizen participation from the Algeciras City Council, the European Regional Development Funds (FEATHER) and the La Caixa Foundation.
The intention of this market is to revitalize the historic center of Algeciras with a new activity. Attendees have had the opportunity to observe and acquire art made in painting, watercolor, drawing, engraving, photography and sculpture. The market has been complemented with painting workshops and storytellers in the Municipal Museum.
