Outcast 2: A New Beginning will have a vast and diverse world, check out the trailer

The game is a direct sequel to the 1999 title

One of the PC classics of the 1990s, and a game that really broke new ground with its open world, Outcast is getting a sequel, which has already been announced last year. now the THQ Nordicthrough your showcase presented today, gave us a taste of what to expect from Outcast 2: A New Beginning.

The main focus of the trailer is the vast and diverse world of the game: regions with fields and mountains, caves, places covered by lava, desert, forests, snowy regions and more. All this is presented while the protagonist flies with his jetpack and wingsuit, remembering the freedom of Just Cause. Some of the firearms combat, in addition to weapon customization, is also shown.

Outcast 2: A New Beginning, which does not yet have a release date, will arrive more than two decades after the first title was released. The second game will be a direct sequel to 1999’s Outcast and will feature the same protagonist, Cutter Slade.

The game is being developed by Appeal Studios, and will be published by THQ Nordic, and features people who were involved in the development of the original game. The game page on Steam describes what we will have in Outcast 2: A New Beginning.

Outcast 2 promises a lot of freedom

The game does not yet have a release date and has a “coming soon” on Valve’s platform. It will be coming to PC, Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5.
