Barely a step lower than Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Placebo was on TW Classic. The British pair of Brian Molko and Stefan Olsdal is a regular in Werchter – the counter is now at nine passages – and this time also pulled a full meadow. But whoever came for a dozen hits might as well wait for Godot. Molko almost broke after a grueling ‘best of’ tour, and now chooses a stubborn own way. “That tour was a horrible masturbation exercise. I only do whatever the fuck I want.”
