This number has increased by 300 cases every year, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Meanwhile, based on data from KPA Bandung City, the highest transmission order came from private employees with a total of 31.01% or equivalent to 1,842 cases.
One of the highest transmission factors results from risky sexual behavior or from multiple partners.
“So, if the cause is based on the highest risk factors in Bandung city, in fact heterosexuality is 39.52% high, so transmission between women and men is like that, and it’s almost 40%, so the people who contract HIV / AIDS in the city of Bandung due to heterosexual behavior, “he explained.
Furthermore, there are still many people who are unaware and are reluctant to control themselves even though they often engage in risky sexual behavior or change partners.
The reason, Silvia continued, is that most people with HIV / AIDS initially had no symptoms, especially physical ones, so there was a risk of reinfection for other people or even their partners.
“The sad thing is that HIV / AIDS, especially HIV, has no symptoms, so many people who get HIV don’t know they have HIV. In the end, infected people don’t realize that a housewife is infected and becomes pregnant and ends up having positive children, “she said.
