Osnabrück – VfL Osnabrück’s second division game against SV Darmstadt 98 is postponed as expected due to two corona cases in the Lower Saxony team and the resulting quarantine of numerous players.

As the German Football League (DFL) announced, the game in the stadium on Bremer Brücke cannot take place this Sunday as originally planned. The game should be rescheduled on October 28th (6:30 p.m.).

According to the game rules, a game can be rescheduled as soon as at least 15 players are not able to play. This is the case with VfL. After the positive tests of the two licensed players, the responsible health service had sent a large part of the team to quarantine at home until next Wednesday (October 21). The next competitive game of VfL is the match at 1. FC Heidenheim on October 25th. Darmstadt welcomes FC St. Pauli the day before.

On the third match day, a game in the 2nd Bundesliga could not take place due to the corona virus. The duel between Hamburger SV and Erzgebirge Aue, which was actually planned for October 4, was canceled at short notice after two corona cases in the Saxons and should now take place on October 21 at 6.30 p.m.
