Oskars Deigelis, Patrick Peterson and Kaspars Ansons release a new song – Video / Audio – Music – Culture +

“Although the song expresses the experience of being a nostalgic walk (being a little more fun in the mind) that it’s all over, it doesn’t have too much of a ‘deep’ meaning. It’s more about positive feelings, about the hope that everything can still change. I’d like to that this song causes people joy and desire to dance, “says Elvis Patrick Peterson, the son of the well – known musician Ivars Petersons.

The song was made as part of a songwriting camp that took place in August this year. The team members created the composition in one day, only in the morning learning the names of their colleagues of the day.

“The collaboration was organic, and without undue hesitation we managed to catch the right feeling both working and thinking about the sound of the song. Everyone within the team had a role, but we created the song together, creating a melody and thinking about its common mood and direction we want to go. I mostly focused on the lyrics of the song, Kaspars – on the arrangement, but Patrick on the performance of the song, “reveals Deigelis.

“I have to admit that on the day of the project, when I arrived in the recording room, my vision was completely different. In the morning, driving in the car, it was raining, I was not sleeping and I thought to myself, ‘Today I would like to sing something melancholic, acoustic, emotional.’ However, as soon as our dynamic trio met in one room for the first time, the work process took us in a completely different direction. This was something new for me – both the genre and the creation process within “RigaLive”, “says Patrick.
