Oriental will only serve clients by appointment

Oriental announced today that, starting Monday, March 30, will only offer service in its branches to clients who request an appointment through its website orientalbank.com.

The banking institution, which has 41 branches operating during special hours, will offer this service until 1:00 p.m.

Through a press release, Vilmarie Baez, Vice President of Operations of Oriental Channels, explained that, “to ensure this, we will be serving our clients within branches only by appointment, with a service that was already offered to our clients. Given the call to stay home and only go out to what is strictly necessary, If the client needs a service at the branch, we invite him to coordinate an appointment through orientalbank.com, under the Contact us section and you can select your branch and the preferred hours; service will be offered until 1:00 pm. In this way we continue to strengthen the necessary measures to counteract the spread of COVID-19, while continuing to provide the essential services that customers need. ”

The services that will be offered in the 41 branches by appointment are essential services: card replacement, claims, among others. Cash transactions and all those that customers regularly carry out with branch tellers can be made through the autobank lanes, until 3:00 pm.

For deposits by check or cash, they stressed that customers with accounts originated in Oriental, can make them through Quick Deposit, located at automatic teller machines (ATMs). In addition, they can deposit at the live ATMs located in some of our branches, to see the list they must access orientalbank.com. They can also use the FOTOdepósito service through Mobile Banking.

Oriental encouraged its clients to stay connected through Online Banking and Mobile Banking, which provides 24/7 access. Likewise, original Oriental customers with the automatic voice system (787) 622-6800) can access their balances, make payments, transfers between accounts and verify their transactions and paid checks, among other services 24/7. Also, original Oriental customers can make deposits from their cell phones through FOTOdepósito and in our ATMs with the Quick Deposit service.
