He shared, “I have to say that I really enjoy being in contact with you. Yesterday I showed your letter ​to my ​wife and her tears were ‍in my eyes. ‍So I’ll‌ do something I don’t usually do. The playwright further explained the deeply​ personal nature of his work. “Any play I choose to produce touches me directly, personally, ​and I ⁢need to ‘prepare’ myself, my life and my own ⁢experience in trying not to return to situations that are not⁢ mine, but these plays⁢ that I choose to stage with my actors ⁣affect many couples, families.”
