DE BILT – The KNMI has issued a code orange for several hours for the provinces of Groningen and Friesland. There were some heavy thunderstorms that were locally accompanied by large hail grains and heavy gusts of wind. The showers moved further into the North Sea via the Wadden Islander, after which the KNMI withdrew the warning.
