Microsoft has released a game flag that is designed to make it immediately clear which games are taking full advantage of the power of the Xbox Series X. The company named a whole series of titles that will carry the logo.
The “Optimized for Xbox Series X” logo is intended to refer to games in the future that will make full use of the performance of the upcoming Xbox. According to Microsoft, titles with this indicator have either been developed natively in the console’s development environment or have been re-created to take advantage of the console’s improved technical capabilities.
According to the Redmond company, this means specifically: Games with the “Optimized for Xbox Series X” logo should run almost without loading times, have improved graphics and hardware-accelerated DirectX ray tracing and / or more stable and often higher frame rates of up to 120 images bid per second. Microsoft mentions Halo Infinite or Gears 5 as examples of games that were developed or optimized for Series X, but the list is even further. According to the current status, the following titles will bear the new badge:
