Oppo’s flagship will be the first phone to use Snapdragon 8 Gen1

Jakarta, Selular.ID – There is something interesting in the 2021 Snapdragon Tech Summit, Oppo announced plans to launch the latest flagship smartphone which will be equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Mobile Platform technology.

Coming in the first quarter of 2022, this flagship smartphone will be one of the first devices to implement the latest Snapdragon technology.

Oppo will also continue to collaborate with Qualcomm Technologies to accelerate the development of advanced 5G technology and explore other smartphone innovations.

This was stated by Patrick Owen, Chief Creative Officer of OPPO Indonesia, according to him, the 5G network is an increasingly real future in Indonesia. Therefore, superior smartphone products are needed that are proven to provide the best 5G connectivity while ensuring power efficiency.

Patrick emphasized that Oppo’s upcoming flagship smartphone is equipped with the latest generation Snapdragon 8 technology, which can be directly applied to 5G networks in Indonesia.

“Oppo continues to strive to encourage research and development in order to create human-centric technology, and uphold the mission of ‘Technology for mankind and good for the world’. said Patrick.

One of Oppo’s innovations is the Full-Path Color Management System found on the Oppo Find X3 Pro which can improve the overall appearance of the device screen. This technology also has a Color Vision Enhancement feature with color settings that can be changed and adjusted, so users who suffer from partial color blindness around the world can enjoy the beauty of the Oppo screen.

And since it was launched for the first time, 5G technology is now becoming more and more popular in various countries. As the world’s fourth largest smartphone brand, Oppo continues to collaborate with Qualcomm Technologies and other industry players to accelerate SA’s 5G network development and expand 5G deployment worldwide.

Scott Zhang, OPPO Vice President of Overseas Sales, said that the collaboration with Qualcomm Technologies will continue to deliver a number of new 5G smartphones equipped with the latest Snapdragon technology this year, including the Find X3 Pro and Reno6 Series.

Oppo uses the Snapdragon mobile platform to develop its SA network in Europe in April 2021. To date, Oppo has partnered with more than 80 mobile network operators worldwide, of which more than 40 operators have joined Oppo specifically to deliver 5G services.
