There are four Oppo Reno8 Series that will be released, namely: Oppo Reno 8 Pro 5G, Oppo Reno 8 5G, Oppo Reno 8 Z 5G, and Oppo Reno 8 4G. Of the four, Reno 8 Pro 5G is the top variant because it is equipped with a number of the most qualified specifications.
Before the launch event, PR Manager for Oppo Indonesia, Aryo Meidianto, also revealed the superior specifications of the Indonesian version of the Oppo Reno 8 Pro 5G.

Oppo Reno 8 Pro 5G Specifications in Indonesia
The first flagship specification lies in the camera aspect. Aryo said, this phone is equipped with a Neural Processing Unit (NPU) chip made by Oppo itself called “MariSilicon X”.
What makes it special, the MariSilicon X NPU on the Oppo Reno 8 Pro 5G is a legacy from smartphones flagship Oppo Find X5 Pro 5G. With MariSilicon X, photos and videos in low light conditions are as good as a professional camera.
“This phone camera supports 4K Ultra Night Video and 4K Ultra HDR Video, and is supported by Oppo’s own imaging NPU, MariSilicon X,” said Aryo at the “Reno8 Series Media Launch Event” held today, Thursday (11/8/2022). ).
Not only the MariSilicon X chip, Aryo said, the Reno 8 Pro 5G camera is equipped with dual cameras flagship Sony sensors, namely IMX766 for the main camera and IMX709 for the selfie camera.

The Reno8 Pro 5G camera consists of three cameras, namely a 50 MP Sony IMX766 main camera, an 8 MP ultrawide camera, and a 2 MP macro camera.
For selfie needs, this phone is equipped with a front camera with a 32 MP Sony IMX709 sensor. This camera is equipped with features autofocus lock.
Battery Health Engine is said to be able to reduce battery degradation (damage) so that it can extend battery life as much as 1,600 times charging.
“The new feature, which we call Battery Health Engine, will provide faster, safer, and longer-lasting charging and battery performance,” said Aryo.
For the screen aspect, the Oppo Reno8 Pro 5G uses a 6.7-inch OLED panel with refresh rate 120 Hz.

In the kitchen sector, the Oppo Reno8 Pro 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8100-Max 5G (5nm) chipset, which is combined with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of media storage. The memory capacity of this phone can be expanded up to 7 GB with the RAM Expansion feature.
On paper, the Oppo Reno 8 Pro 5G has a thickness of 7.34 mm and weighs 183 grams.
Although he has detailed the key specifications, Aryo still keeps the price of the Oppo Reno 8 Pro 5G a secret in the country.
When asked about the price range, Aryo only said that the price of the Reno 8 Pro 5G in Indonesia would be revealed at the launch event titled “Reno 8 Series Exclusive Launch” on August 15.
As an illustration, the price of the Oppo Reno 8 Pro 5G in India is 46,000 rupees (around Rp. 8.6 million) for the 8/256 GB memory variant. It is not yet known whether the price of the Oppo Reno 8 Pro 5G in Indonesia will be cheaper or more expensive than the price in India.
