Oppo Find N Foldable Phone Appears on Geekbench List, Release December 15?

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – Folding phone Oppo has allegedly been spotted on the Geekbench listing. The listed smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chip, which is paired with 12 GB of RAM. Recently, a source claimed that the phone has received certification from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) in China.

Meanwhile, the rumored foldable smartphone called Oppo Find N it has reportedly been spotted on the Camera FV-5 website, which reveals the camera’s specs. The news comes days ahead of the Oppo Inno Day 2021 event, where the company is expected to unveil its foldable smartphone, on December 15 to be exact.

A list Geekbench indicates that the smartphone has the model number ‘OPPO PEUM00’. WHYLAB recently uploaded a screenshot on Weibo of the smartphone with the model number PEUM00 which is MIIT certified and claims that the device in question is an Oppo foldable smartphone.

Moreover, the Geekbench listing shows that the phone will run the Android 11 operating system. The Oppo foldable phone scored 925 points in the single-core test and 3,364 points in the multi-core test.

This phone is claimed to have a 12.6 MP sensor, paired with a lens that has an aperture of f/1.8 and is equipped with OIS and EIS. As far as the front camera is concerned, the phone could come with an 8.1 MP sensor paired with an f/2.4 lens and offer EIS support as well.

While Digital Chat Station claims that the smartphone may have a 50 MP main sensor on the back and a 32 MP front camera. Previous reports claimed that Oppo could launch a foldable phone with an 8-inch display.

Nashville Chatter reports that Oppo’s foldable phone may have an LTPO main display with 2K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Most recently, in an open letter released today Thursday, December 9, Oppo Chief Product Officer and OnePlus Founder Pete Lau announced the development of the Oppo Find N.

This new foldable model is claimed to be simple in design, useful and easy to use. With the Find N, he said, Oppo has solved the main problems of previous foldable smartphones, such as folds in the screen and overall durability of the device, by creating the best hinge and screen design available today.

Oppo has also released a teaser video to give a glimpse of the upcoming foldable phone. The 15-second video shows the fold-in design of the Oppo Find N and shows the thin bezels on the lid and the foldable screen.
