China HP Manufacturer Oppo confirmed that it will use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset in its latest product in 2022.
Qualcomm has just launched its latest high-end mobile chipset, Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 at the Snapdragon Tech Summit, Wednesday (1/12).

According to the plan, the smartphone, which will be launched in the first quarter of 2022, will make Oppo one of the first brands to join the latest Snapdragon chipset.
Although there is no mention of the model with the name of the latest Oppo phone in 2022, it seems that the phone that Zhang is referring to is the Find X4 Pro.
Find X4 Pro is the successor to Find X3 Pro, which this year became Oppo’s Phone of the Year 2020. The Find X2 Pro, on the other hand, has been the subject of rumors for the past few months.
Last week, a lot of information leaked about what the Find X4 Pro’s specs looked like via Weibo, the Digital Chat Station. According to the leak, the unnamed phone is considered to be Oppo’s flagship.
The phone will feature a 6.7-inch QHD display with a 120Hz refresh rate that uses three cameras, consisting of a 50-megapixel wide-angle lens, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens and a 13-megapixel 2x telephoto lens.
Xiaomi does not want to lose, they are also obsessed with being the first to apply the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset.

This is not new, indeed, from a number of leaked specifications, Xiaomi 12 has called the use of the latest chipset from Qualcomm.
There it is called Xiaomi 12 using Snapdragon 898, now of course the naming convention has changed, with the new name Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.
