Operation “My blood for others” stops in Saint-Etienne

On Wednesday 28 and Thursday 29 September, a large blood collection is organized in the town hall of Saint-Etienne. The operation, titled “My Blood for Others,” is organized by Rotary Clubs and the French Blood Institute (EFS). It will take place from 9:30 to 13:30, then from 14:30 to 18:30.

Therefore, 1,400 are needed every day

Although the level of inventory in our department has been kept afloat this summer, thanks to satisfactory participation in blood collections, the EFS has seen a significant decline in donations over the past ten days. However, no fewer than 1,400 daily donations are needed each day in the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes region to cover the needs of healthcare facilities. To welcome donation candidates in the best possible conditions, they are invited to make an appointment directly online here. Of course, spontaneous donations without an appointment are also possible.
