Two Israelis were killed and two others wounded in a stabbing attack by a Palestinian attacker in Holon, south of Tel Aviv, before he was shot dead by Israeli police, according to Israeli authorities.

The stabbings happened during the morning rush hour in the city of Holon, just outside Tel Aviv. Israel’s ambulance service said the attacker stabbed people near a gas station and a park.

Medical officials said a man and a woman were killed and two others were injured and taken to hospital, according to the Reuters news agency.

The Israeli police announced that the person who carried out the attack in Holon lived in the West Bank and that there may be another attacker at the site.
