Lanzenkirchen. Under the motto “Keeplicht” were the focus of the visit of Chancellor Christian Stocker in the market town on August 19 and forward -looking municipal politics.
Together with Mayor Bernhard Karnthaler (ÖVP), the Chancellor in Timeout 2.0 in the Lanzenkirchen business park got an idea of “Operation Fox”, a successful cross -border cooperation between the police and special units to combat cross -border crime.

In his words, Stocker emphasized the special role of committed communities: “There are places where the interaction between local responsibility and state security works particularly well – and it works perfectly in Lanzenkirchen.”
Mayor Karnthaler also emphasizes how important mutual trust and forward -looking dialogue are for social interaction: “Projects like Operation Fox show that security is not just a question of structure, but above all a question of attitude.” This confirms what many citizens feel: “In Lanzenkirchen, the world is still okay. Not because you are satisfied with the status quo, but because it is worked on every day to strengthen the common,” concluded the mayor.
