We didn’t necessarily expect such an announcement tonight, but GameMill Entertainment has just made official G.I. Joe: Operation Blackout, a new shooter coming to consoles and PC. Some information and images have just been unveiled, and we already have a release date.

Join Joe and Cobra

GameMill Entertainment, we know them for games Nickelodeon Kart Racers, Cartoon Network Battle Crashers or the very dispensable Zombieland Double Tap Road Trip. The team is tackling a new adaptation, that of GI Joe, a through a shooting game where we can play 12 different characters through the teams of Joe & Cobra. Duke, Destro, Snake Eyes or Commander Cobra are among them.

We are also told about a single player campaign that includes 18 missions and which can be played both solo and local cooperation. This will follow the original story of the comics. There will also be a “variety” of online multiplayer modes, including the traditional Capture the Flag, Assault and King of the Hill modes. Note that the weapons and appearance of the characters will be customizable.

You can already note the date in your diary: G.I. Joe: Operation Blackout will be released on October 13, 2020 sur PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One et Switch.
