OpenSignal: XL Replaces Telkomsel, The Best in Video Experience

From his analysis, Telkomsel won various categories and led the internet quality in Indonesia as a whole. Telkomsel is the champion in the category of upload speed experience, 4G coverage experience, outstanding quality consistency, and core consistent quality.

Citing the OpenSignal Indonesia Mobile Network Experience report, for the first time XL won the video experience award.

“Six times in a row, Telkomsel has continued to win the Video Experience category since July 2019. However, XL now occupies the top position with a score of 44.8 on a 100-point scale,” said OpenSignal in its report, Tuesday (5/7/2022).

For video speed, Telkomsel is in second place with 43.1 points, Indosat at 40.9 points, Tri at 37.7 points, and Smartfren with 26.3 points.

Not only that, XL also excels in the download speed experience (download) with a score of 18.7 Mbps. This speed is 15.2 percent to 108.1 percent faster than the user experience using other operators.

For download speed, Telkomsel in second position with an average of 16.3 Mbps, Indosat with 14.1 Mbps, Tri with 11.2 Mbps, and Smartfren with 9 Mbps.

Telkomsel excels in upload speed (upload) with an average speed of 7.7 Mbps, followed by Indosat with 7.2 Mbps, XL with 6.7 Mbps, Tri 5.9 Mbps, and Smartfren with 1.7 Mbps.
