This is remarkable, because yesterday also the pre-orders of the Xbox Series X and Series S – the next-gen consoles from Microsoft – started. While there is no way to check, some of the people who bought the Xbox One X through Amazon may have done so by accident. The name, which is very similar to the names of the next-gen consoles, may have caused confusion. However, it is also possible that more gamers decided to buy an Xbox One X at the last minute yesterday.

Xbox One X sales are still up today – but less intense at 69 percent. The successors to the console will be available from November 10.
