ONMT: two new delegates appointed in New York and Abu Dhabi

The Moroccan National Tourist Office is in perpetual motion. Two new delegates have been appointed in New York and Abu Dhabi.

In a press release issued this Wednesday, June 15, the ONMT announces that Siham Fettouhi has been appointed ONMT delegate in New York, in charge of the North American market, and that Rachid Hamzaoui has been appointed Office delegate in Abu Dhabi, in responsible for the Middle East market.

Siham Fettouhi was until now marketing and development director for the Office’s offer. It was she who piloted the international communication campaign “Terre de lumière”. She was the youngest director appointed to the institution. His mission now will be to help promote the Morocco tourism brand on the American market.

As for Rachid Hamzaoui, until now he was director of operations and activation. A position where he capitalized on his know-how and experience obtained through various missions, particularly in terms of managing partnership projects. His mission will now be to develop ONMT’s strategy in Middle Eastern markets.

Still within the framework of the redeployment for a better efficiency of the Office’s strategic actions, Salima El Mghazli was promoted to Director of Operations and Territorial Activation. A position in the continuity of her areas of expertise, since she was until now at the head of the territorial activation department. A position where she managed the relationship with regional partners. It has distinguished itself in particular by its expertise in the development of air connectivity for several Moroccan tourist destinations.

These three appointments, underlines the ONMT, thus complete the new organization of the Office, deployed two years ago. They also accompany the dynamics instilled by the ONMT for three years now in order to meet the challenges awaiting the Moroccan tourism sector in order to strengthen the impact of the new communication campaign “Terre de Lumière” of the Morocco brand.

For Adel El Fakir, Director General of the Office, “these appointments confirm our desire to be in perpetual change to support the trends of our main markets and continue to deploy the development strategy of the ONMT. They also come to confirm the will of the onmt to put forward its competences in particular female and its youth and to be in continual listening of its national and international partners”.
