Just over 3% of the French population has downloaded StopCovid, the tracking application implemented by the government to fight the spread of
coronavirus. This rate is much lower than the average figure observed in the 13 countries of more than 20 million inhabitants having launched a similar digital tool, reports
BFM TV.
Study released Tuesday by mobile app marketer Sensor Tower estimates that 9.3% of nationals from all of these countries have installed this type of app on their smartphone.

Numerous downloads in Australia
These programs identifying people who have encountered patients suffering from coronavirus have attracted a total of almost 173 million users aged over 14 in all the countries concerned, including Australia, Germany and India. , Indonesia, Italy, Japan or Turkey. France ranks ninth in the ranking.
The ranking is dominated by Australia, of which 21.6% of the inhabitants have adopted the COVIDSafe app, ahead of Turkey, with a download rate of 17.3% and Germany, where 14.4% of the population has downloaded Corona-Warn-App. However, the tool has only been available since June 15. India is the country where the greatest number of people have been convinced by the government’s anti-Covid program 19. The 127.6 million Aarogya Setu subscribers, however, represent only 12.5% of the country’s total population.
