Due to the state of emergency in the country transferred to spring The International Documentary Film Festival “Artdocfest / Riga” announces an online version, which will be on view from November 25 to December 1. During this time, one film that has recently achieved international success and recognition will be offered to the Latvian audience free of charge every day, the organizers informed. –

The film will be translated – there will be subtitles in Latvian or English. The film screenings of the online festival will take place on a “one film a day” basis.

The online festival will be opened by the premiere of the film Alone (Belarus) about a rock musician and at the same time a political activist participating in protests in his homeland.

All movies on the specified date will be available to look free of charge in the territory of Latvia, except for the film “The Jump”, which will be shown on streaming platforms for tickets. More information is available at the festival Homepage.

The partners and supporters of the festival and symposium are the Riga City Council, as well as the State Cultural Capital Foundation, the Latvian National Film Center and several international foundations. The partners of the festival are the US television channel “Current Time” and the German television channel “Deutche Welle”.
