Online event with numerous revelations no earlier than mid-July?

In July, we can look forward to a large-scale online event that details the hardware and games of the Xbox Series X. According to current reports, the event could take place in the middle of the coming month at the earliest.

A few days ago, Sony released Interactive Entertainment and presented the first first-party titles that are in development for the PS5 as part of an online event.

Microsoft is still covered in this regard and has so far announced only one major online event, which will take place in the coming month and which will focus on Microsoft’s first-party productions. Even though it was recently confirmed that the final content of the event is being worked on internally, it is still unclear exactly when this will take place.

The official date will follow shortly

Jez Corden from Windows Central, who has long made a name for himself as a reliable source on topics relating to Microsoft and the Xbox, is causing fresh speculation these days. As Corden indicated, we shouldn’t expect the online event to take place in early July. Instead, we should expect the event to take place in the middle of next month.

He did not reveal where Corden would have gotten his information from. Microsoft itself has so far not wanted to confirm the information provided by Cohen, but last week let it be clear that the date of the online event will be revealed in the coming days.

We will of course keep you up to date on further developments. The Xbox Series X will be released on Christmas 2020 in a date not yet specified.
