“OneRepublic” concert “Arena Riga” postponed to next spring The news

“OneRepublic” concert in “Arena Riga” has been postponed to next spring

Riga, April 18, LETA. The concert of the US pop rock group “OneRepublic” “Arena Riga” has been postponed from November 11 this year to May 20, 2022, Līva Toniņa, the representative of the event organizer “L Tips Agency”, informed LETA.

She said that the group appreciates the loyalty of the fans, but is even more concerned about the safety and health of visitors. As there is currently no certainty that the ambitious events typical of the association will take place this autumn, it has been decided to postpone the entire tour to next spring.

Toniņa noted that those who have already purchased tickets to the concert do not need to do anything extra – the tickets will still be fully valid. In turn, those who have not yet managed to buy them, will be able to buy tickets in the “Ticket Service” network.

OneRepublic was founded in 2002 in Colorado Springs, USA by former schoolmates – soloist, multi-instrumentalist, songwriter Ryan Teder and guitarist Zac Filkins. The current line-up of the association also includes guitarist Dru Brown, bassist and cellist Brent Kacl, drummer Eddie Fischer and keyboardist Brian Willett.

OneRepublic was promoted in 2007 and collaborated with producer Timbaland, who remixed and included the band’s song “Apologize” on their album. The song ranked first in 16 countries, with more than six million copies sold in the United States alone. In total, the band has recorded four full-length studio albums and promises to release a fifth recording next year.
