OnePlus Pad, OnePlus’ First Tablet Officially Launched

KOMPAS.com – Mobile phone manufacturer OnePlus officially launches its first tablet called OnePlus Pad in the global market. In terms of capabilities, this tablet is equipped with various specifications that are usually found in high-end cellphones (flagships).

In terms of hardware, for example, the OnePlus Pad is powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 9000 chipset which has a processor (CPU) with a maximum speed of 3.05 GHz. This chipset component is combined with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage media.

Then on the display aspect, this tablet adopts a spacious 11.6-inch IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 2,800 x 2,000 pixels, and a capable refresh rate with a maximum rate of 144 Hz.

The OnePlus Pad screen itself, which has a maximum brightness level of 500 nits, has an aspect ratio of 7:5 and a screen to body ratio that is claimed to reach 88.14 percent.

With this screen to body ratio, the bezels around the screen look quite thin and are able to give the impression of a modern tablet device.

Apart from the chipset and screen, battery toughness is also a selling point for the OnePlus Pad. This is because this tablet is supported by a battery with a very large capacity, which reaches 9,510 mAh, twice the capacity of current cellphone batteries, which are around 5,000 mAh.

A battery that big is said to be able to be used to watch movies via streaming services for approximately 14 hours and 30 minutes, or to be able to make the OnePlus Pad turn on in standby mode for about 1 month.

Because the battery is large, OnePlus has also embedded SuperVOOC fast charging technology with 67 watts of power. With this technology, OnePlus claims that their first tablet battery can be fully charged (0-100 percent) within 80 minutes.

Even though it has been announced, OnePlus hasn’t disclosed the price of this device. What is clear, however, is that the Pad tablet can be ordered in several regions, such as India, Europe and North America, as summarized by KompasTekno from GSMArena, Wednesday (8/2/2023).

OnePlus itself hasn’t officially entered the Indonesian market yet, you can be sure that the OnePlus Pad tablet will not be marketed officially in the country.
