OnePlus 11 will be released in Belgium and the Netherlands for 829 euros – Tablets and phones – News

OnePlus has announced the OnePlus 11 smartphone for the Dutch and Belgian market. The phone will cost from 829 euros. The 11 succeeds the OnePlus 10T and OnePlus 10 Pro, as there will be no separate Pro model this year.

OnePlus promises to give Android upgrades to the device for the first time in four years this year and to provide the smartphone with security updates for five years. That is much longer than previous OnePlus phones. For example, the OnePlus 6 series received three OS upgrades and security updates for about 3.5 years.

The manufacturer had already announced the OnePlus 11 in China. The device runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 soc, assisted by 12 or 16GB Lpddr5x memory and 256 or 512GB UFS 4.0 storage. The phone has a 5000mAh battery, which can be charged wired with 100W. The manufacturer does not say whether the phone can charge wirelessly. The manufacturer supplies the 100W adapter separately and users have to pay for it.

The main camera has a 50-megapixel sensor in the form of the Sony IMX890. That’s a sensor of about 50 square millimeters with an optical size of 1/1.56″ and pixels of 1 micron. The camera with ultra wide-angle lens has an IMX581 sensor of about 30mm² and an optical size of 1/2″. The camera with telephoto lens is a Sony IMX709, which offers a magnification of 2x and also has an rgbw sensor with an extra white subpixel to capture more light. The phone has an OLED screen with a diagonal of 6.7 “and a resolution of 3216×1440 pixels, which can refresh at a frequency of up to 120Hz. It is an LTPO 3.0 screen, the manufacturer claims.

In terms of specs, the 11 falls between an old regular model and an old Pro. Compared to last year’s Pro, the price is slightly lower and the base model has more storage. The main camera has a smaller sensor and the telephoto camera only comes to 2x instead of 3x. However, the telephoto camera is much larger. The camera with ultra-wide-angle lens can now also take macro photos.

Compared to last year’s Pro, wireless charging has disappeared. Customers can load slightly faster than with the 10 Pro, although it is slower than with the 10T. The model with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage will cost 829. For 899 euros, customers get a variant with 16GB memory and 256GB storage. Tweakers will publish a review of the OnePlus 11 later this month.
