Ustadz Yusuf Mansur is currently a defendant in three cases. Ustadz Yusuf Mansur will undergo a trial at the Tangerang District Court in the near future.
The panel of judges at the Tangerang District Court did not accept the lawsuit related to the land tube investment case.
Recently, a mother named Lestari admitted that she had been harmed by Ustadz Yusuf Mansur when she was young. The woman who lives in Bata said she had known Ustadz Yusuf Mansur since 1999.
“This Mrs. Lestari has been around since 1999, when Ja’man wasn’t married yet, not like now. She is often at Lestari’s mother’s house, then Jam’an suddenly came to pawn the car to Lestari’s mother. There were three cars that were pawned, the car was from rental,” said Darso Arief as the victim’s companion during a press conference in the Ragunan area, South Jakarta, Wednesday (22/6).
“One of the owners of the three cars policed Jam’an so they were processed at the Bojonggede Police,” he continued.
Lestari reported her loss to the police because Ustadz Yusuf Mansur promised to pay compensation.
“I didn’t report it, because he made a statement at that time for Rp25 million to me, then when he was successful he wanted to help me,” said Lestari.
In 2006, Ustadz Yusuf Mansur turned out to have good intentions to repay the loss suffered by Lestari in the amount of Rp. 10 million. However, that was the last time Wirda Mansur’s father paid Lestari.
“Back in 2006, he used to pay me Rp10 million,” said Lestari.
Lestari finally ventured to reveal what happened to the public because she realized that Ustadz Yusuf Mansur had harmed many victims.
“I was patient enough at that time, I thought that the ustaz didn’t need to charge me, he also knew the laws. Then recently I saw how crowded it was, then I was moved,” he concluded.
