An unspecified person was isolated in a hotel in Brno, where the series now continues, as well as all those who were in direct contact with him. However, he has no health problems.

Representatives of Dorna said that after the resumption of the series, persons who have access to the paddock have already passed more than 5,500 tests. To this day, they have all been negative. In addition to riders and mechanics, all persons who have access to the circuit area are also regularly tested.
“After a positive test, which we received early on Saturday morning, the person was immediately informed and isolated at his hotel. Then another one was performed, which was also positive. The employee and all his close contacts will remain in isolation,” Dorna said in a press release. with the proviso that all persons in the so-called secondary contact have also been preventively tested and all are in order.
