According to the report, one Korean sailor was confirmed to have been admitted to a hospital in Bandar Abbas, southern Iran.

An official from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said, “I heard that this sailor has suffered from frequent abdominal pain.” I was hospitalized.”

He added, “Now my condition has improved a lot, so I don’t have to worry about it. Other people have no health problems.”

Meanwhile, it was also confirmed that Choi Young-ship, who moved to the Strait of Hormuz immediately after the ship was captured, was dispatched a month ago.

A government official said, “Shortly after receiving information that Iran could capture Korean ships last month, Choi Young-ship was put into the waters near the Strait of Hormuz and took measures to protect Korean ships.”
