According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the 7th, a delegation of the government who left for Iran to negotiate release early on this day received a report of the safety and health status of sailors from the South Korean embassy in Iran.
According to the report, one Korean sailor was confirmed to have been admitted to a hospital in Bandar Abbas, southern Iran.
An official from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said, “I heard that this sailor has suffered from frequent abdominal pain.” I was hospitalized.”
