One district has 100 points in the PES system! These regions are the worst off

On Wednesday morning, according to data published by the Ministry of Health, Teplice in North Bohemia was the worst with a risk score of 91 points. It was also the only district in the Czech Republic where the PES index was 90 or more.

A day later, everything is different. He became the new “champion” Rakovník district, from where experts report the maximum value of the risk score – 100 points. The situation worsened in the mentioned Teplice, where the score is 96. As in Tábor.

In total, there are currently six regions with a risk index of 90 or more – in addition to the three mentioned, deterioration is also reported from Mělník (93), Havlíčkův Brod (92) and Beroun (90).

The other eight districts are worth 89 points – Hradec Králové, Karviná, Kladno, Náchod, Nový Jičín, Opava, Ostrava-město and Prostějov.

The Czechia also lost the only district in the entire republic on Thursday, which was a day earlier in the third degree of measures out of five – the risk score in Karlovy Vary jumped from 57 points to 74 and thus “lacks” two points to fall to the strictest level of anti-epidemic measures. The situation in the capital is deteriorating rapidly – the risk index in Prague has jumped by 24 points in two days – from 61 to 85.

The Czechia has been in the strictest degree of action since Sunday. Only shops with the basic assortment remain open, the night curfew applies from 9 pm and the restaurants are closed.
