The result makes National team U-19 perched in third place in Group A AFF U-19 Cup. Garuda Muda collected eight points, minus two points from Thailand and Vietnam above it.
Indonesia will determine its fate to advance to the semifinals in the last match against Myanmar. Vietnam and Thailand also have to do the same thing, which must meet each other on 10 July.
National team U-19 must win over Myanmar while hoping Vietnam or Thailand lose to seal tickets to the semifinals. Meanwhile, if Vietnam vs Thailand draws and Indonesia wins in the last group game, then the qualification for these three teams will be determined by goal difference.

In a press conference after the match against the Philippines U-19, the U-19 national team coach Shin Tae-yong said there was one thing that he complained about and was wary of throughout the tournament performance. It was hot weather!
“So as you can see on the field, the weather is very hot and the two days of matches are very dangerous for the players, it should be every 3-4 days, it is very good to improve the performance of the players, the temperature is 28-30 degrees,” he explained.
“That’s what makes the players suffer, the mentality of our players can be maintained well, all teams in this tournament are in the same situation, difficult and difficult, that’s what we are adapting at this time,” concluded Shin Tae-yong.
