Today it has been presented at The English Court the 7th March against Cancer of Mother “A Walk through life Castellón 2021” organized by the Le Cadó Foundation against breast cancer and Official College of Nursing of Castellón, with the sponsorship of El Corte Inglés (Castelló).
“Almost 90% of breast cancers are cured”
The prestigious oncologist and researcher Ana Lluch stated in the presentation that almost 90% of breast cancers today they are cured, compared to 50% when she started working, and that the society have to lose the fear of the word cancer, relying on the research that are carried out, and specifically, in public health and universities.
In addition to Ana Lluch, in the act the Councilors for Social Welfare and Health, Mª Carmen Ribera and Isabel Granero, respectively; the vice president of the Diputación Patricia Puerta; the territorial director of the Consellería de Sanitat, Edelmiro Sebastián and María Fonfría on behalf of the Consorci Hospitalari Provincial de Castellón; the UJI researchers, Eladio Collado, Elena García Roca and Ana Boldó, and the president of the Le Cadó Foundation, Elvira Monferrer.
Solidarity march
The Solidarity March against breast cancer It will take place on Sunday October 17, on the eve of the celebration of the International Day of the fight against breast cancer, and aims to raise funds for breast cancer research through the Le Cadó Foundation. Specifically, they will be used to finance the research projects developed by the Castellón Provincial Hospital Foundation and by the INCLIVA Foundation of the Valencia Clinic Hospital.
The 7th March against breast cancer “A Walk through Life Castellón 2021”, with a 6 km route. It will start at the Rafalafena Park, next to the Official College of Nursing and the arrival point will be at Paseo Ribalta, in front of El Corte Inglés in Castellón.
The March welcomes people of any age, they can even be accompanied by their pets, and all will collaborate with a donation of € 8, the registration fee, which also gives the right to a commemorative shirt of the March, in this edition, designed by Higinio Mateu .
