On weekends in Latvia there will be changing weather conditions with precipitation, on Saturday evening a significant increase in wind is expected, according to the latest weather forecasts.

At night on Saturday, clouds coming from the sea will bring various precipitations to places – including Riga – and roads will be icy in places. The wind will subside, the air temperature in most parts of the country will drop to +1 ..- 4 degrees.
The sun will shine on Saturday, temporary precipitation is expected in some places, in the evening it will rain in Kurzeme and possibly also wet snow. On the night of Sunday there will be precipitation all over the country, in places heavy. Vidzeme, Latgale and Selija will be covered with snow, at the same time heat up to +10 degrees is expected in Kurzeme. On Sunday, the sun will shine in many places, temporary precipitation is expected.
On Saturday evening and at night on Sunday south, southwest wind gusts will increase to 15-20 meters per second, on the coast expected gusts of up to 26 meters per second. In the second half of the night and during the day, the wind will become slower, but on the coast on Sunday there will be a gusty west wind.
Precipitation is also expected next week, the air temperature will be mostly between zero and +10 degrees, in some nights it will freeze in places.
