On the outskirts of the Red Forest in Chernobyl, a radioactive dry ration of the Russian army was found. The level of radiation is 50 times higher than normal

The film crew was shown the floor where the Russian military lived. The level of radiation there is increased, but the source of pollution is not visible. As explained by the Ukrainian soldier Igor Ugolkov, who accompanied the journalists, the radiation comes from small particles that the Russian invaders brought into the building, including on their shoes.

“Everything is fine in other places, but here the radiation increased because they lived here,” the soldier said. “They went everywhere, and they also took some radioactive dust with them [когда уходили]”.

The station’s staff said the radiation levels are “only slightly higher” than what the World Nuclear Association calls natural radiation – a single contact is not dangerous, but constant exposure can pose a health risk.

According to Ukrainian officials, the behavior of Russian soldiers at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant is an example of carelessness.

As you know, the invaders dug in in the Red Forest – the most polluted place in the exclusion zone. General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine posted drone videoshowing these structures.

The film crew was taken to the Red Forest. On the outskirts of this zone (the story says that this is a safe place), journalists found a dry ration of the Russian army, the radiation level of which was 50 times higher than normal.

Minister of Energy of Ukraine Herman Galushchenko, in an interview with reporters, called the behavior of Russians insane.
