Problem: members of one of the two groups would have launched their galloping horses in the water, frightening those of the group of the equestrian center of the Littoral of Saint-Aubin, who arrived in front.
Seven injured horses
Riders would then have fallen. Two of them, more severely affected, had to be transported to the Caen University Hospital. In addition, seven horses were slightly injured.
The manager of the Littoral stables lodged a complaint for “endangering the lives of others”. The gendarmerie opened an investigation to clarify the circumstances of this accident.
